I have messaged through this help window several times over the last three weeks and then on your web page as well. I can't even use the Lex anymore as it is frozen. Is there a way to update it or delete and reinstall it?

Really sorry about this John! We've definitely experienced some performance issues recently (mostly since shipping the new document rewind feature) and are actively investigating this, but unfortunately it's not a super quick and simple fix. Definitely our highest priority to get back under control though so hopefully have some updates soon.
If you email us at hello@lex.page with the documents you're seeing issues with we can look into that and see what we can do.
Really sorry about this! we're obviously happy to offer a refund on your pro subscription for the affected period if you'd rather not continue with us, again just let us know via email.

I've just had a look and can only see one email thread to hello@lex.page from the email you've sent this feedback from, dated Aug 22nd, replied Aug 23rd.

.c**?)If so I'm not sure we ever received them unfortunately, but I'll check with my colleague to see if they know of anything, but searching your email only produces the one thread from Aug 22nd.
