i'm using chatgpt 5 through lex and asked for a designed document of the workshop i'm creating. lex failed to produce it. I put the same info in chatgpt directly and it was completed in seconds

I was chatting with "Claude Opus 4", and it told me during the conversation that it was "Claude 3.5 Sonnet." I wouldn't expect the real Claude 4 Opus to tell me this. Are we getting Claude 4 Opus with the chatbot labeled as such?

It would be great to be able to edit comments so that I can correct mistakes after hitting submit on a draft.

I have a step-by-step writing prompt, but when setting up the prompt, only the first initial prompt can be set. I want to input all five steps into it, then execute them step by step to write an article.

Better Ability to Copy output

I deeply appreciate using Lex and am impressed by the quality of output (after the right range of prompting and reprompting). But one challenge I often find is copying the final output. It usually shows up for me in the right textbox and I find it can be challenging to copy and paste it. I hope this can be improved

I would like to have the ability to see the dictation-generated text before it is submitted. The transcription is excellent; however, some technical terms are sometimes missed or mistranslated

We REALLY need two things: larger than 5mb file limits on uploads...I reference a lot of big reports in my research and writing. And something for convenience...being able to upload multiple files at one time instead of having to click the "+" button a dozen times to add my sources

It seems as though Lex 'forgets' my PDF and other file uploads when I come back to the document after a few days. For ex - I'll reference the uploads and the LLM will ask me to upload the reference files to move forward. Perhaps that's because the app has switch models (e.g., moving to Grok 4 today, I noticed)

Relative LLM costs

To make effective use of the various LLM, the cost of each is relevant vs their use and directly affects the $100/month limit. I want be able to choose an LLM based on cost vs usefulness.

More prominent & accessible prompt manager

I'd love to be able to access and manage the prompts a little more readily and with some additional space for usability. Placing the manager button more prominently is a small thing. As for the usability, this may be just taste, but I find the pop up window to edit prompts a little cramped. I'm also not sure of the need for a "my first message" box -- for me any programmed instructions should just be in the system prompt. I use the assistant's first message mainly to prompt me for additional necessary context in some instances before it proceeds. Perhaps you could explain the purpose of "my first message" as distinct from the prompt. Thanks!
