We need to be able to delete chats entirely and specific chats. The chat pop out gets way to long and then become unusable.

Is it possible to completely delete documents that you no longer need instead of archiving them?

Patrick W thanks so much for sharing this - I want to make sure I understand your issue. Is the idea that sometimes the response messages you get from Ask Lex are too long, and you'd like to delete that specific message so you can clear space in the chat?
I'm curious what specifically happens to make the chat pop up longer? The way it is designed to work is to just take up the entire height of the screen and come in from the right side. And it should allow you to scroll infinitely though as many messages as needed. Is that not happening? I ask because you say it's "unusable" and I'm curious if there is a design bug preventing you from scrolling or seeing all the text.
Thanks!

Nathan B: I would like to have the chat be capable of popping out into a separate window entirely I can place side-by-side with the main window I am working on and resize/move around as needed from there. To me that makes the chat far more usable throughout both lengthy conversations involving lots of long messages and when trying to keep a conversation actively on the screen while navigating to a different Lex document on another tab to make changes related to the chat discussion.

Thanks for the suggestion! We're planning to add a chat search feature to make Ask Lex more navigable. Do you think that would solve your issue? Deleting is easy, but recovering is hard so we figured searching would be better.
