Wanted to answer on your latest newsletter, however my mail response got blocked by gmail spam filter... maybe it works through this form. So here you go, my reply was: B) just old habits… die hard. Notes app on iPhone is just "easier available“ (short notes, quick collection of thoughts, etc.) and Google Docs (longer docs) are/ feel easier to share with anyone else?

Not really "THE ONE" feature that I am missing, but e.g. for notes and any form of shorter docs: I LOVE how Apple Notes is just available on all my devices and both offline/ online; it's super simple, has basically no features whatsoever, yet the one thing that works perfectly is off-/online sync, also among various devices. This makes it my number 1 "writing tool", even though I can't use a lot of "smart features" that Lex or also Google Docs is offering.
I am probably an outlier, not many are so crazy to also create somewhat larger/ more complex docs in the Notes App, but I wanted to share it anyway :)

Yeah that makes a lot of sense Stefan. The best tool is the one that's available and just works, Apple Notes is great for that.
We're working towards better iOS and desktop apps, and definitely want to support offline mode, just haven't gotten to it yet.
Appreciate the thoughts!

Super useful, thanks so much Stefan and agree we've got a long way to go for both mobile notes and serious collaborative documents.
We're working on import/export with Google Docs and generally bringing our feature set up to match (font settings, find and replace, colours etc).
No pressure to reply as you've already been really helpful, but is there one specific feature that would enable you to use Lex more? Or are there too many smaller ones that form a barrier to usage?
