v2 Zapier Automations

With the new ability to add files as context for writing and prompts, it would be powerful to be able to automatically make new Lex folders/documents, and attach/update living context files.
I essentially want to replace NotebookLM with Lex, because your UX and workflow is so much better, as is the writing quality (obviously :)
But my current Notebook workflow involves Zapier integrations that put meeting notes (e.g. from Grain) into a GDoc, which is already attached to a Notebook, so I can do follow-up meeting research in Notebook. Lex has issues with GDocs. But a workaround would be integrations to automatically make and update Lex files that are attached as context.

I suppor this idea as well. The new ability to import content in context is a game changer. My work flow involves output from my AI driven PKM, Constella.pages, in md file format, then I now manually import easily into LEX either as context or content. Live context files is a fascinating idea.

Out of interest which files would you love to be pulled in live from outside Lloyd? All of the above?

Fred Rivett. My particular interest is Constella.md files but the other formats have value.too. Constella is a infinite whiteboard graphical PKM, something like a mind map. I live in the Apple eco system so Pages would be nice as an import export format.

Gotcha thanks Lloyd, super useful. Btw did we onboard you to a new, secret in the works feature we're working on? If you don't know what we're talking about then probably not, ping us at hello@lex.page referencing this chat and I can set you up to give it a try.

Love this idea Zebulon. We definitely want to make Lex more powerful and can see a zapier integration in the medium term, though we've got a
lot
in the works at the mo so can't promise it'll be super soon unfortunately. But rest assured this sort of power user functionality is where we want to take Lex, so all in good time!
