We have a basic version of this already rolled out for Lex Pro users to test, there's some improvements we need to make before rolling out more widely but if you really want this feature then it's available with a pro subscription for now, otherwise hold tight and we'll get it to you soon!

Yes! A version of track changes that's more like Word and less like Google Docs would be amazing — I'd be a power-user if you had a product that was collaborative (like Google docs) but had robust track changes views (like Word) ... and especially the ability to write without seeing the deletions, but have everything still tracked and viewable if you turn it on to see it.
Add this to an AI editor and ... sigh, that would be amazing.

My favorite way to view tracked changes is with a version comparison where 2 different versions show split screen with the differences highlighted (just using a highlighter not strikeout or different text colors) it’s super easy for anyone to see what edits were made and see deletions without sacrificing clarity in the new version.
I usually have to use 3rd party software and export different versions as Word docs but a native view that uses the brilliant versions feature where we pick when to save a version would be awesome.
