Sometimes CTRL+Z does not work properly, text is deleted and cannot be recovered through CTRL+Y I believe it happens when integrating IA suggestions

Would that help if I disabled Brave's "shields"? That may mess up with Javascript and things like that. I'll try for Lex.

Potentially Jean-Pierre! We've had lots of times where support requests were resolved by turning off an extension, can't say if this is one case but it could be.

Fred Rivett Well I disabled the option and I just got the issue.
I accept an AI suggestion, doing CTRL-Z does nothing or changes the wrong thing, looks like the undo history can get broken

Jean-Pierre L If you have time and are able to share a screen recording to hello@lex.page (mention I sent you and I'll see it) that would help isolate the issue, no worries if not though, just haven't managed to reproduce this on my side yet!

Fred Rivett I'll try!

Appreciate it Jean-Pierre!

Sorry about this Jean-Pierre, and thanks for the heads up. I've seen some quirkiness with CTRL+Z, normally in longer, older documents (that are bigger so take longer to process actions).
I've just tested and can't reproduce this on with AI suggestions or normal interactions, so it's not an easy one to fix.
I think it's due to performance, we've spent some time recently on performance issues and will continue to do so as we're aware there's lots more to do on this front. Apologies for the frustration in the meantime!
