Please fix the connection to Gemini 2.5 Pro. I've never had Gemini malfunction outside of Lex. It's the most powerful model I know, and not having it reliably in Lex is a shame.

Fred Rivett P.S. Over the past few days, access to 2.5 Pro went from spotty to completely gone. What I'm getting now is a message, after a waiting period that can take 20 seconds or so, that the AI provider is not responding.

Fred Rivett Hi, Fred! This issue happens all the time, unfortunately. The quality of outputs from Gemini 2.5 Pro is so good that I often copy my prompts and documents over to the Gemini app when Lex fails. I’d much prefer to use it directly in Lex, since that’s my main writing app.
The problem isn’t strange outputs—instead, Gemini 2.5 Pro just stops responding entirely, with no warnings or alerts. Sometimes, if I retry the prompt several times, I eventually get an output. But more often than not, I get nothing and have to switch to a lower-quality model or continue the conversation elsewhere.
Let me know if there are any logs or details I can provide to help diagnose this! A fix would be great for my writing process.
