I'd love to have an internal side-by-side notepad.

When writing on my desktop, it would be really nice to have the ability to pull up a notepad next to my document for outlines, summaries, character lists/descriptions, etc. As it is, I either have to include all that in the main document, which is bulky and inflates my word count, or I have to have it all it a separate document, which is clunky and annoying.
Even having the option to open two documents next to each other would accomplish this, although that might make it more difficult for Claude to grasp.

Not sure if you have already, and no pressure, but I can nudge on our side to get you early access if you're keen, just ping us at hello@lex.page with your email and start the message with "I want to try the new thing."

I agree. Saving Ask AI comments into a Note Pad would be useful. As it is now, I open a Pages Doc and save them there while working on the doc in Lex , then if really useful, save in new Lex doc as a notes file in the folder for the project. The issue for me is the AI keeps track of things only in the current session. Looking forward to the pending update with Note Pad.
