Frequent connection errors with AI providers are slowing down the process.

Last few days I'm having what I assume are micro-cuts that are significantly slowing down my work. The AI in "Ask Lex" almost never responds to the first text prompt, having to send a second, and even third or four message to get an answer. After I finally get it, it happens all over again. Every message I send has to be followed up by waiting a few minutes, then sending a new one.
Is there a workaround for this? Changing AI models isn't really an option, since Claude Sonnet is the only one I found to be useful for my project. (It's more creative and understands better the framework when working with long documents and multiple context tags)

Purtroppo ormai si comporta sempre così. Ieri era addirittura fermo e non rispondeva per niente.

Hey Rodrigo, these fixes are now live, for both issues reported here. Please refresh and if you see any more issues please do let us know! Thanks again for flagging.

Fred Rivett It was working (kind of) fine today, timeouts weren't as frequent. But right now the issue came back, and even worse: after the first time out and eventual reply, the chatbox won't even let me send another message. It stays in the square icon (that appears while the AI is thinking or sending a reply) instead of going back to the arrow for sending new messages. Enter key on the keyboard does nothing. And the chat log isn't saved, so i can't continue the conversation even if I reload the page (which fixes the message box.)

Oh dear, really sorry Rodrigo! I'll investigate this and re-opening this ticket. If you're seeing this now and find it easy if you can ping us a screen recording to hello@lex.page that might help pinpoint exactly what's going on (mention my name if so), if not then I'll try to reproduce my side and get back to you.

Fred Rivett Done, managed to get it on camera.

Thanks so much for sending that through Rodrigo. Will continue the chat on the email thread and update here once there's a resolution.

Sorry about this Rodrigo! Thank you for taking the time to detail the issues, really appreciate you flagging these.
I've spent most of the day on this and have fixes ready to go tomorrow. Will update here when they're live.

Update: I recently noticed something when refreshing the page. If I go back to the conversation, each message where the connection timed out is duplicated several times. So, the problem snowballs, because each new message eats away the AI's context window, which wouldn't be that much a problem if it weren't that context tags are also duplicated, including the "current document edits". Meaning, the AI model receives several copies of the same document, again and again, filling up its memory and making the timeout issues even more frequent.
